Ariadne Thread is a B2B conference contact management tool for medical affairs professionals. It allows users to scan conference badges, capture contact information, score Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), coordinate team outreach, and send follow-up emails.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to any third party.
When you scan a badge, the extracted text may be sent to Anthropic (claude.ai) to enrich the contact record with publicly available professional information such as institutional email addresses, roles, and research interests. This data is processed solely for enrichment purposes and is not used to train AI models. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing: anthropic.com/privacy.
All data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Ireland), hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This means your data is subject to GDPR protections. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

We retain your data for as long as your organisation's subscription is active. On termination, data is deleted within 90 days unless you request earlier deletion.

Camera: Used only for badge scanning and QR code reading. Images are processed on-device and/or sent to our server for OCR. They are not stored permanently unless you choose to save a contact.
Location: Used only to record where a contact was captured. Never tracked in the background. You can deny this permission and the app will function normally without it.
Push notifications: Used for team safety features (SOS alerts, colleague summoning, check-in timer expiry). You can disable these in your device settings.
Ariadne Thread is intended for use by medical affairs professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
